This 1976 Jaguar XK12C was
a rusted out mass of non-functional metal. The car received a total
frame up
restoration. While restoring the body we mistakenly chopped the top off
and
installed the Cabriolet conversion which required extensive body
stiffening.
The engine was rebuilt and installed the May’s “Fire Ball” cylinder
heads. The
automatic transmission was discarded and a 5 speed fitted. The interior
was
completely restored and features Brazilian Rosewood veneer. This is the
car
Jaguar should have built!
